They can expect their transplanted hair to fall out a little or start to grow in about a month after the operation. During this time, the new hair may feel itchy or irritated but should soon start to grow in smoothly and normally.
Some grafts may not survive, and a noticeable scar might form. This is a rare occurrence but should be discussed with your surgeon.
