1. Sculptra
Sculptra is an FDA-approved filler that works by encouraging collagen growth. The results of Sculptra are natural-looking and last for up to two years or more. Unlike other dermal fillers that contain hyaluronic acid, this injectable contains poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA). The PLLA solution is injected below the skin’s surface. This triggers the body’s own collagen production, which produces a softer fullness that doesn’t look “over-filled.”

You can expect to relax in a comfortable treatment chair as the device hand-piece is guided over your skin. You may feel sensations of vibration and heat, but these are short-lived and are a result of the RF energy in action. The tip of the hand-piece is also cold to minimize discomfort.
Patients who choose to have Thermage treatments often report less droopy or loose skin and more confidence after their sessions, which typically last 30 to 90 minutes. However, it’s important to note that Thermage is not suitable for pregnant or breastfeeding women.
3. Restylane Silk
Restylane Silk is a dermal filler that provides volume and lip augmentation. It also reduces the appearance of lines around the mouth. This filler contains hyaluronic acid (HA), which is naturally occurring in the skin. It also includes 0.3 % lidocaine, which decreases pain during injection.
In two clinical studies, one using needles and the other with a cannula, the safety of Restylane Silk for lip augmentation and the reduction of perioral lines was determined.
