Community Languages
Community languages are those spoken by minority groups who live in a majority language community. The library has a number of materials to assist in learning not only English, but other languages as well. We have Rosetta Stone, "a revolutionary language-learning program acclaimed for the speed, power and effectiveness of its Dynamic Immersion method," and three dedicated computers to run it on. The library also has GED materials.

Reference Service by email
You may submit reference questions to the staff electronically. This service is only available to Corbin Public Library cardholders, unless you are asking about local information that can only be answered by resources unique to our collection. Questions best suited to email are the "ready reference" type, easily answered by short, factual answers. Recommendations for web search strategies or assistance with placing holds are also well-suited to email. Click here to send, and please include your name, address/library card number and your question. Be as specific and concise as possible.
